MULTI-UNIT PROJECTS

Why choose Solea Kitchens for large scale projects?

Our builder-grade quality is top-notch.

We love what we do and we are experts at it. We see issues before they even occur, and provide solutions proactively .

Our design philosophy emphasizes the importance of a well-thought-out design that considers not only aesthetics but also the practical aspects of engineering, manufacturing, and logistics. Our team is well-equipped to anticipate and address potential issues at every stage of the project. Effective communication of our concerns, solutions, and suggestions to all stakeholders is a key aspect of our work.

It is crucial to remember that designs for multiple units need to be scalable and efficient for mass production. Poorly designed details can lead to a long list of Pre-Delivery Inspection items, causing delays and increased costs. For instance, finished cabinet ends for integrated appliances or inadequate space for installers can significantly impact the project's efficiency and budget.

To avoid such inefficiencies, we focus on incorporating overlay panels for integrated appliances, allowing easier repairs without the need for extensive coordination between trades. Additionally, we ensure that fillers and scribes provide enough flexibility for on-site adjustments, considering that actual measurements may differ from initial drawings. Lastly, we streamline our processes by standardizing sizes and utilizing stock parts whenever possible, minimizing the impact of last-minute design changes on production timelines.

  • Traditional.

“While contemporary design is recognized for its clean lines and sleek surfaces, traditional kitchen design often includes interesting details and embellishments. In the kitchen, cabinetry, countertops, and backsplashes provide perfect opportunities for incorporating special stylized touches.” - Caitlin Sole, Better Homes and Gardens, 15 July 2022

  • Transitional.

“The transitional kitchen is a unique blend of traditional and contemporary furniture, finishes, materials and fabric – all of which equate to a classic, timeless design. This hugely popular aesthetic is ideal for those of us who revere an enduring look – and those who want to remodel once, and once only.” - Jennifer Ebert, Homes and Gardens, 20 June 2021

  • Contemporary.

“Kitchens with a modern or contemporary flair are usually minimalist in design and feature linear, geometric themes. The use of asymmetrical balance is also a trend in modern kitchen décor. Cabinets and molding are very simple and feature only modest embellishments.” - Sally Painter, Interior Designer, lovetoknow.com
